Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs

Peter Schneider is responsible for overseeing the Toronto office’s Business and Legal Affairs department. He negotiates pre-sale licenses and key talent agreements, advises on the full spectrum of production activities, and provides counsel to Cineflix’s distribution division.

Prior to joining Cineflix, Peter worked for the CBC where he negotiated commissioning and co-production agreements with international production partners. He also advised Nelvana and Corus on the exploitation potential of key creative properties, managed the business affairs group for CineNova Productions, and spent several years with Gowling Lafleur Henderson in its corporate commercial group.
