Houlihan Joins Cineflix

Cineflix Productions announced today that Joe Houlihan is to join the company as Senior Vice President of Programming.

Reporting to President of Programming Simon Lloyd, Houlihan will play a key role in consolidating the company’s recent growth and in expanding its production slate even further. Working across the UK, US and Canada, Houlihan will be particularly focused on expanding the production slate in factual entertainment and entertainment.

Houlihan joins Cineflix from Twofour Broadcast where, as Director of Programmes for the last three years, he was responsible for the hit shows The Baron (ITV1), Make My Body Younger (BBC3), On Thin Ice (BBC2) and Built From Disaster (Discovery).

Prior to joining Twofour, Houlihan was President of RDF USA, where his credits included Wife Swap USA (ABC), Junkyard Wars (TLC), Faking It (TLC), I Hate my Job (Spike), and Survival of the Richest (The WB). When he was previously at Granada he created and executive produced the global hit show Airline and was responsible for numerous high-rating shows like Ibiza Uncovered, I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and Parking Wars.
